Just the other morning, something in my ear rattled. So I did what any red-blooded human person would do: stuck my pinkie finger in there and tried to repair the problem through brute force.

Long story short, I now require a tympanoplasty. But this expensive medical procedure has afforded me the opportunity to broaden the horizons of my little website. As of today, I’m proud to announce that I will finally be able to acronymize my name without confusing everybody. That’s because I, Dan Thurot, am now a proud member of the Dice Tower Network. We’re calling it DT².

There is no hidden message in this game.

In the past, readers have come to know Space-Biff! as a source of information about the cultural artifacts we call board games. For over a decade, I have been proud to play, analyze, and write about tabletop games that not only entertain us in the living room, but also broaden our horizons, educate our minds, and, in short, make us better human beings.

No longer.

My new role at the Dice Tower is unexpected, but I’m sure everybody knows it was a long time coming. Starting today, I will be functioning as Tom Vasel’s body double.

Yes, the hat will be red.

Whether attending a convention Tom simply doesn’t have time for, posing for photographs with loving fans, or helping care for his thirty-one children, I’m eager to get started in my new role as Tom Vasel. This is DT², folks, and together our future is brighter than ever. Make sure to say hello. If you can even tell the difference. I know I can’t.
